Dear Snowstorm Jonas:
38 inches? Really?
Stir crazy and over it,
Jenn
Thank goodness I'm a shopaholic and randomly purchased these North Face ski pants. Definitely came in handy!
Without the ability to leave (unless I had a bobcat digger, which I don't. Next purchase?), I thought I would share some of my favorite spaces in my new house with y'all. After all, sharing is caring!
Obsessed with Restoration Hardware's wine barrel chandelier, I wanted something that resembled it but without the $2700 price tag. My knock off? $500.
My house happens to be 60% wallpapered. No joke. There is something about turning on a light in a dark room and seeing a pretty print that makes me smile. Sometimes I will walk around in my fuzzy heart printed robe (picked out by my kids of course) with a cup of coffee and stare at these beautiful walls. It's the simple things...
Merry Christmas to ME! I've been searching for the perfect horizontal print for my second floor hallway. The picture had to compliment my taupe ikat Thibaut wallpaper. Finding this gem was better than a half price Chanel sale.
I'm a risk taker. With that said, I LOVE mixing prints with prints. I get excited layering texture upon texture. Discounted items sit next to splurges while the old touches the new. Anything goes in my world!
My absolute favorite room in the house. Le Office!
Beautiful bold Thibaut wallpaper really makes this room come alive. Love the lightness of the white linen drapes.
My life is loud and chaotic and I wouldn't have it any other way. I gravitate more towards brighter patterned clothing that stands out in a crowd. But my home tends to be more serene and earthy in tone. The calmness creates a much needed balance in my soul.
Had to spice up this boring cornhusk colored chenille loveseat and chair set in my living room. I fell head over heels with this green ikat printed wool rug and wood drum table the instant I saw them. Organic burlap printed drapes tie it all together.
With an open floor plan, I tend to like all the rooms to have a continuous flow. Calms down my over active brain. The wheels are always turning...
The green and yellow tones carry on through to the dining room. Normally not a flower fan, I became oddly obsessed with this botanical bird Thibaut wallpaper. I would carry a swatch with me and pull it out a few times a day before making the commitment. Glad I chose it!
Prints on prints. Textures on texture.
Whenever I walk into my 5 year old daughter's room, I'm instantly thrown into a wonderful world of pretty pink princesses and cotton candy. I wanted her room to be magical and whimsical.
Doesn't every five year old need a hot pink plastic chandelier, a pink ikat chair from Anthropologie and a floral bird cage wallpapered accent wall? For sure!
That concludes my fun lil house tour! Back to eating, eating and elastic pants. Thanks for visiting!
